I'm inclined to agree with most of this. I was listening to one of my favorite NPR shows the other day, and a caller pointed out that this didn't all appear out of nowhere, that Trump nor the gridlock of DC

didn't appear overnight.

It probably started much earlier than this, but it was directly set off from the 2008 campaign, Sarah Palin, and the creation of the Tea Party. And Mitch McConnell stating clearly they would not work with Obama
