man, it's my thirtieth birthday in less than a week and I still don't know what I actually want to do for it
I feel like I should have Big Plans
I mean, you don't get decades ticking over all that often
but even with offers from family to help budget it, I'm kind of.... ????
I unno a nice dinner I guess

I feel like this is a side effect of having been living on a shoestring budget for basically ten years
I can't even imagine what fancy-ass thing I could possibly do
or like... we were gonna go down to seattle and maybe portland but it turns out TL's passport is expired and that was like, the one idea we had. XD
things I would ACTUALLY like for my birthday:
- a few solid freelance gigs
- a new place to live that's affordable and nice

Coworkers were suggesting going up to Whistler but that's like 100% bath spas and outdoor activities.
