hahaha straight depends if he respects the person giving them... but I guess that's how most people are.

He has no problem following instructions if he agrees with them or if he thinks the person giving them knows what they're talking about. He's actually very good at being a follower when he's decided to.

if not, though, he will outright ignore them

maybe bitch about being ordered around to his friends later

but he's definitely much more of the 'ignore' camp than the 'protest' camp

he is very passive to receiving physical affection

like, he doesn't mind it, kind of likes it?? but it also sort of confuses him most times

but if he returns any sort of gesture of physical affection that's a real act of trust, bc he's doing something emotional and he trusts the person won't mock him for it or reject it

also someone's pretty much in the Trusted Person category if he falls asleep while in physical contact with them

Serene and Mel

He had a really rocky start with Serene, bc she's an explosive personality and they got off on the really wrong foot, but she at one point decided to aggressively Friend him and... it worked

they had to share a tent a few times on Zeta and have gotten really close

and Mel has pretty much just wormed his way past Evan's defenses by being a total sweetheart... come to think of it they shared a tent one time on Zeta as well

so I guess... technically... he has Slept With People in game

I'm sure his dad has a folder somewhere full of drawing after drawing of rocket ship schematics circa Evan age six, and forget crayons, he jumped right to pencil crayons

Evan is, all the way to the bone, a pacifist. This is more a temperamental trait than a decision and it reflects in how he deals with hatred, too

Mostly he will just ignore people he doesn't like

Not address them, maybe not even answer them, maybe leave the room when they arrive

if forced to interact, he'll be very dry and flat with someone he doesn't like, very unemotive

it's different if he's afraid of someone, then he might actually lash out with his words and get agitated or mean, but if he just dislikes a person he'll try and forget they exist
