Wound up not doing the extra catch per route thing, and had the same catches as first file; but this time I ground Pikapek hard enough (and had a +sp def instead of -sp def nature) so she didn't get one shot-

by the early game Magnemite; which lead to her two shotting it.

Am now in route 2 grinding a bit before the challenge in whatever cave, with a team of Popplio, Pikipek, Abra, and Makuhita.

So a pretty solid start imo.

Wish I didn't have half my team being old pokemon, but alas.

I also just realized I fucked up my naming scheme last night while I was tired, so I'll need a name rater.

I'd been using words that start with the same letter as the species name, but was thinking 'Hariyama' instead of 'Makuhita.'

Caught a Misdreavous in the graveyard, probably just benching her immediately; assuming this Abra comes to fruition, and in addition to my Popplio I really don't need another special attacker atm.

Zubat in Verdant Cave and Spearow in Route 3 'cause obvs. what I needed was more flying types.

But I've also evolved Pikipek and Popplio.

So much for updating with regularity. Since the last post, completed the water challenge, but lost both my starter and the grass thing I got to it, which is sad.

Team is currently Kadabra, Pikipek's evo, Mudsdale's first form, and an in-training Magikarp.
