Way too much "present" time and way too little past.

Also most of what I know of the games is the badass parkour and fighting, which there was not enough of.

Great acting though, as you might expect given the cast.

Someone with game knowledge might enjoy more knowing deets of the story? It felt barebones to me.

I like the modern day plot, but man most AC fans don't give a shit about the Abstergo stuff

I'm hoping it's entertaining and that's about it.

I don't have a lot of high hopes for a video game movie

The trailers made it look like entertaining trash with better than normal production values and casting, so that's about where my hopes are at.

(I'm pretty meh on the modern day plots in the video games, myself.)

good action, really cool cinematography and they do cool things with camera angles. Really pretty in terms of production value

and the parkour bits are badass
