tldr the guy who closes with me wednesday and thursday was out sick again, and while my good coworker who lives in the same co-op as him reports he was Genuinely Ill today, he's... been calling out for much

less for the past few weeks

I'm not technically alone I have my bikers but they're in and out so much on delivery I can't put them to much use until we close.

Even if he was genuinely sick, he's too frail/too flaky to have a shift that no one will conceivably cover.

I'm done!! I'm done being understanding. I'm irritated~

Everyone else is irritated too, considering he texts them all at least twice a week trying to cover his shifts for him.

he's a laughing stock at this point. I feel bad but I'm rapidly starting not to.

also I had coworkers stopping in drunk and offering to help cover your ass when I was slammed~~ One of them was out because it was her birthday and she still tried to help!!

I kicked her out to have a good time, but still

I've got dumb work family way better than this, why can't I have someone competent and reliable on these days...
