YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME ALIVE
that that owl was in a police car makes the gif even better in this context tbh
it is too much I am defeated
Chara's emotional/moral weak spots
Okay so, I'm unsure if this is weak spot in the sense of 'personal failing' or 'the best things to go for if you Want Something From Them'
But given the 'physical weak spot' question above I'm leaning towards the latter so that's what I'll do
In that case, it kind of depends what you want. They're very paranoid and suspicious (although is it really when everyone's really out to get you) but they have a few holes in their guard.
They like honesty, they like people taking them seriously either as a threat or a person, they like people who state their selfish motives up front (though they assume they're holding some back in reserve)
Well like is a strong word but it does earn points
They're also really curious! And they hate it but that's another way they can be lead by the nose if done right.
Those two traits combined are why they keep proposing the question game.
(another big button which their Frisk likes to shamelessly press is; they really do not want to be like their abusers.
they'll fight and kill but. just no. not that.)
(it's a whole can of worms there)
3. Scars or painful spots
Their arms and inner legs look like birch bark. They also have quite a few scars that definitely couldn't have been self-inflicted, like the ones on their back. All of these ache.
They also have phantom pains from their deaths in the Underground
Usually in their chest area.
The wounds they got from there are actually starting to scar in CP!
Speaking of, they have that one big line across their throat from their alternate self killing them there.
That area is often also quite sore.
maybe it's kind of... the narrator, silenced?
some sort of cosmic irony there.
it's also a pretty quick death, done right, which is practical
in cp it was def a mercy kill, given what injuries falling down the stairs had given them
but yeah as far as I know that Chara's player hadn't seen that thread so
6. Their vices (physical or emotional)
: D okay so this is former meaning
Chara's main vice is. Power and control. Crave 'em badly
They can do... some pretty terrible things trying to get them
They also have a taste for vengeance which stems also from their philosophy of self reliance
which often can trend into the disproportionate. But that kind of ties into the above.
there's a bit of a 'recovering addict' vibe to how they view it, therefore
As for physical vices... not really. Their stimming tends towards the destructive and they eat and hoard food like it'll disappear any moment, which it might, but I don't know how much that counts.
Oh! And there's the self harm
hhhh that means a lot birb
coming from one of the Quintessential Chara Players
XD I worry about their characterisation a lot, it helps
do u have any Frisk q's too?
5. Guilty pleasures
Frisk kind of has issues about being A Good Person All Of The Time so. A lot of the time guilty pleasure involve acting outside of that. Teasing people. Breaking into people's houses.
Throwing a brick through a window and running away.
They definitely started sort of... unfurling? If that's the right word. With the Dreemurrs
It's most obvious in how they played with Asriel, going from 'I dunno, what do you want to do?' to pulling him across the Underground looking for Secrets.
(They're curious, like Chara, but it's kind of more of a physical curiosity. They want to explore, they want to see things themself)
Come to think of it, a lot of Frisk's pleasures have 'guilty' tacked onto the front simply by way of not thinking they deserve them hhh.
But they love shipping people. They love people's reactions to getting something nice done for them (they would def pull the deviantart prank). A lot of the things they like are things they did with
someone else secondarily and kind of picked up.
(part of me is very tempted to say 'romance novels' as an injoke)
13. What gets them flustered
Frisk's kind of... hard to fluster. They like flustering other people.
getting into situations that they... don't really know the right response for tends to do it
18. Things they’ll never admit
Frisk is keeping a lot of secrets
They're hiding things from Chara, they're hiding things from Flowey, they're hiding things from themself
it's hard to pick it apart
but mostly they never want to admit their darker impulses
just keep those locked tight where they can't hurt anyone and everyone will be fine right?
this got a bit rambly whoops
XD it's hard to be specific because it's like pulling a thread and then suddenly the whole sweater unravels
but they are pushing down resentment towards Chara, and their own problems with the state they're in, and frustration at Flowey, and the desire to strike out that lead to their current state of LV7
their death only served to reinforce the idea that nope, all of that is bad to feel and only gets people you love killed
it really kind of undid a lot of progress they'd made
this kid needs several breaks
all the frisks, all the breaks
(tbh, I am surprised Chara Haven hasn't burned to the ground repeatedly)
(maybe it has)
(I'm picturing a sign on the wall say '0 days since last murder')
(okay Wonderland was that you again)
(And that's how the place burnt down for the fifth time
(It's a cut above the rest, that rivalry)
