Weird hair planes are totally inescapable with these two characters, they're like defining features to me for some reason

I'm going to try to get back into some more gesture drawings. They always help me loosen up if I have been rusty for some months.

(Mostly looking at reference; tonight I just wanted to get something done within twenty minutes so I could go to bed feeling like I'd gotten the urge to draw out)
