So.

I got asked to go to the a speed dating thing as moral support

I'm single so sure. But this meant I need to participate too

And we get to message people whom we are interested in afterwards, because the whole thing is organised thorough a website platform.

So she messaged this guy whom she speed dated, and the same guy messaged me

I replied with an affirmative (to further meet up) without knowing that my friend is also interesed

but then I found out the next day

and then this guy started messaging me more

but I'm like, not 100% head over heels?

instead it's just, a maaaybe maaaybe? So I could have just turned him down and given my friend a better chance

He's asian, but ABC so it's better, but IDK I've been conditioned to find white people more attractive and I don't even know where I want to go with this

so like, what if my friend is way more serious about him

thing is though, even if you turned him down, he may not be interested in your friend?
