I would've liked the last Saturday I get to work to have been nice and calm like most Saturdays

with happy friendly people and cute families like usual

but in an entire year I had only met one angry customer

NOT TODAY

today's angry assholes include:

1, the lady who basically ordered a platter but refused to listen to my advice regarding pricing, then watched us like a hawk as we folded 30 individual thirds of a sandwich instead of putting them on a fucking platter

2, guy who got super bitchy about the fact that we don't take $50 bills (or higher) and proceeded to rant about how inconvenient it would be to cash his several thousand dollar paycheck in 20s

I basically said ' no I've never had that much money at all do I don't understand ' and then said that I'd get fired if I took his 50

he told me to take the 50 and get a job bc it's apparently not his problem

I got a manager and they got yelled at for like ten minutes

and finally

3, the two moms with twelve kids, who got mad at me for catching a kid stealing a cookie and asking that it gets paid for

to quote, "you get free meals, right? just take it out of yours. "

fun fact: I do not get free meals.
