cuz we have this super interesting scenario where damian's keeping an eye on batdad while (half-heartedly) tryina stay off his radar (despite declaring to everyone and their mother that he is SON OF THE BAT)

and where, thanks to incorrigible gossips (TED), bruce is actually aware that kiddo's around but has been giving him his space (tho damian doesn't KNOW he knows)

and i was thinking like "ok, so for this plane ride, what's gonna be the pretext to that"

and i'm thinking that it's gonna be a pretty spur of the moment thing

like he realizes batdad is taking a plane (which at this point means OUT OF COUNTRY bc otherwise transporters)

and just like, infiltrates and tags himself along

no idea of where they going

or why

but just to make sure he's there if batman runs aground of trouble

can i popcorn at these shenanigans

can i also

IT SHOULD BE PLENTY OF ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL

when something or other causes robin to get knocked outta the vents or whatever. just drops right into mission talkies when they're mid-way across the atlantic

too late to turn that plane around

and then in usual batfashion they will probs both be too focused on The Mission to be like "should maybe have a father-son talk"

no time for emotions only infiltration and commies

that or have a totally nonchalant conversation mid-battle like The Princess Bride

i'm also super looking forward to damian totally trying to turn the batmen against each other (as a way to eliminate terry and as a way to entertain himself)
