honestly this was the chillest amke I've ever been to

and I broke even and made like 40 bucks on stickers alone

my three friends and I did the draw a smiley face across all four of our hands thing from yugioh vowing to do a double art booth next year, we all had an absurdly good time tabling/watching the table.

on the other hand, I've never really participated in the panel/guest aspect of cons, but I tried it out this year and I lucked out three times due to increasingly irritating misunderstandings

the final straw being waiting for two hours out of pure vitriol and spite, 20 feet from the door, only to still be capped off for some reason. so that side of conventions is finally dead and buried for me.

I did manage to get into a panel with matt mercer and marisha ray on accident though, and it was a really fun and informational panel about the voice acting industry. they talked about fun things and answered questions about the strike going on, it was super interesting and I hope against all hope the strike works out eventually.

I was kanji when I bought these and we chatted about the game for a while and when I mentioned I was gonna be carlos on saturday she was like "....... please come back and show me"

so I did and took pictures with her and she told me it was a dream come true
