not dropping anyone

but man uni's eating up a lot of time and creative energy so i've been kind of screaming at my tags

or more accurately my past self who has no self control when it comes to starting threads

so i'm probably gonna focus on getting them done and then pacing myself jfc

Chara is not doing well at all.

They've had their bodily autonomy badly trespassed like. 3 times in the Castle.

And as a result they have vendettas with Mettatons, Gasters, and Kalak.

In the most recent thread they're really managed to make a Mettaton flip his lid and not in a fun way so that's probably gonna dig that CR hole deeper

The gaster who did it is gone now but they had a big blowup with dustless Frisk about it which basically ended with both sides unhappy (Frisk bc Chara doesn't trust their judgement of people and Chara bc it felt like they were dismissing what happened) and Chara with a reaffirmation that telling anyone about things ever is a bad idea

Kalak is the most messy rn because of that entire month where neither of them had their memories and Kalak kind of sibling-mentor adopted them.

in a sense Chara got a taste of what it was like to not be alone and the universe is rubbing in their face, which they're very pissed about

They have like, one person in the Castle they're on consistently good terms with, dustless.

and they're basically crashing and burning hard.

Frisk is doing a little better.

They weren't there when those things happened, and there's a metric fuckton of guilt for that.

Selfishly enjoying being separated, bad Frisk (they didn't even remember Chara during the second event, but does that affect their self-loathing? no)

they actually did manage to stop Kalak but didn't realise the full extent of what was happening and are kicking themself for trying to talk instead of breaking it straight away.

They have the cutest CR with Death and I love it. Like. Discworld Death, for clarification. They've been late-night cooking together (bc death never sleeps) and thanks to him they have their locket back. Their locket.

They other person they've really let know of their existence is dustless, and they extracted their birthday from them for a surprise gift (and no cake everyone's sick of it).

Unfortunately unbeknownst to them, their mental calendar has slipped out by a few days so it really is going to be a suprise.

And they're gonna hit up S-4 for some healing for Reasons Whoops. While trying not to let Chara know for other Reasons

They're starting to suffer compassion fatigue and the event didn't treat them well, so these kids who were once fighting over control of the body are kind of a bit 'you take it' 'no YOU take it'.

Over in Snowdin, lol, i really want chara to tactlessly crow over ds's first death a little. stop this gremlin. Otherwise, no plans.
