我知道菲律賓在印尼附近, 可是不知道距離離臺灣比臺灣日本更近

Prague 不危險, 但是很 touristy. Vienna 有聽 Mozart concert , 但是那是在還沒小孩之前

就是因為小孩長得快, 才卯起來帶他們玩, 再玩也沒幾年了, 很快他們就不跟我們出去了

這次小孩要跟 grandparents 去坐 cruise, 我們自己去. 想接下來幾年要去考慮小小孩方便去的地方.

我知道的, 我弟一有女朋友後就不跟我媽出去玩了

before my small ones turned 6, we went to: 20+ Caribean islands (on cruises), Orlando FL, and just northeast+Canada (within driving distance without having to hop on an airplane)

Sounds depressing, especially we consider Canada is part of America. We used to have at least one domestic and one international travel every year.

haha, but since then, we started flying again, 3-4 international trips a year

so we more than make up for the depressing years we lost due to having young kids

I know it's possible to travel with small children, it's just harder on the parents. I already thought about Scandinavia counties and some easier parts of Europe.

How can you travel so many times a year, spring break, thanksgiving, Christmas/ new year, summer?

yes, my school district has 3 one-week breaks --- Christmas, winter and spring. and sometimes they also combine one or two teacher training days before or after, and together with both weekends, we can easily turn each one into a 10-day trip

and of course summer, but we don't like summer travel as they are very crowded, and expensive, and hot, so we usually go to national parks, or somewhere north

I also thought about maybe later on in the summer I need to send my kid to Taiwan to learn Chinese. (I already vowed not going in the summer). I am the only one teaching her Chinese, but my Chinese 退化的很嚴重, maybe it's necessary to send my kid to immerse in the environment.

YuanZhang: 我今天才問過小白, 她沒教過中文. 學中文我是講認字和寫字, 我不想教注音符號, 會不太一樣.

就上小學就會開始教國字啦，所以我沒刻意去教小孩認字。但是啵啵開始學字後我會輔助啵啵學習認字，而且我自認為我還滿有創意的XD

像郭這個字，我教她用鍋子來聯想，左半邊頂端是鍋蓋，中間那個口就是鍋子，然後因為它是鍋子，所以口下面還要有個子。

右半邊還有個耳朵別忘了，因為鍋子要有耳朵才端的起來，不然會燙手😆

很好啊. 這有類似我想要教的方法，看字找 connection. 有個 silicon family 他們是把家裡的每個東西都貼上字, 小孩這樣學非常快.

當然家裡貼完後, 我還是要用字卡
