Green ones are: Grew up in DC so spent a ton of time in MD. (BA maybe should be blue but I don't remember as much stuff there.) Live in WI now and family has a place in MI that we go to nearly every summer.

A lot of the orange ones are due to business trips, either my own or because my dad was part of an economists' organization that had yearly conferences where they rotated states from year to year.

So that was the source of a lot of random summer trips when I was a kid.

My grandmother lived in NH right on the VT/NH border, so we went there a lot too.

TN was from a bit where dad took us hiking in the Smoky Mountains National Park every year for a while.

Pretty sure I only get Ontario because my parents drove through it to get to MI at least a couple of times. XD

And now that I think about it, KY should be at least red.
