the issue started with the start of a massive battle where Emma was leading the mutants, convincing them they had no choice

then the new-Inhumans arrived and told Queen Medusa why the mutants were attacking and apparently no one had told her about the mists saturating?

Ms. Marvel then handed her a button saying it could destroy the mists and the hope of inhuman progeny but save the mutants

Medusa then made the decision to destroy the mists, saying the prosperity of her people at the expense of another species isn't the way she wants her people to thrive

when the mutants saw the mists disappear, they halted their attack, which enraged Emma because it turned out all she wanted was to see the Inhumans dead, so she summons a robot army to destroy the Inhumans

Cerebra tries to retaliate then Magneto supposedly destroys her and Forge cries but then Medusa goes for her, only to get into trouble, then be saved by Johnny Storm

Emma gets thrown off by the explosion and we then saw that she had been controlling Magnetos mind that whole time so he got mad because he hates mind control and everyone proceeds to attack Emma

then Havok appears and whisks Emma away saying he owed his brother that much

the two sides make peace before going their separate ways, agreeing that Emma is now a mutual enemy

it then has the epilogue in which Medusa abdicates as Queen after lamenting about how there will be no more new Inhumans, hinting that New Attilan will become a democracy after being ruled by a monarchy for centuries

Emma solidifies her place as a villain, revealing her god awful costume

and end of story

it was alright

sad that Cerebra was destroyed

but yeah... I'm glad the X-men weren't painted as villains, though I'm kinda sad Emma is a full on villain once more
