You have been through worse things than this in the past. You'll make it. There are plenty of slightly used kids to go around if there aren't any new ones coming soon enough. You're going to be fine. What are you doing to take care of yourself right now?

When you feel better, I want you to work on a Coping tool box. It can be an actual box or it can be a folder, or whatever you can use to contain comfort objects, like pics of loved ones, reminders of things that help you feel better, a favorite tea, coloring pages and crayons. I can help you figure it out later if you want. It helps to plan.

I can offer hugs and positive thoughts for you.
