Dumb, joke ES thought I had a few days ago: Izmeron gets insomnia for a week or two and can't dream of the future. Force, on the other hand, manages to keep sleeping and dreaming of the past, and finally manages to find her, for good or ill.
I don't think that could actually happen, but I like the idea, silly as it is. The series winds down to an end because of insomnia, of all things.
It couldn't happen because Force, at least, is shown accessing his powers fully awake and presumably Izmeron's powers are the same!
But that's kind of cute otherwise
(he does zone out while he's using his powers but it's not a typical "lie down, go to sleep" thing)
CherryFlight: Ah, alright then! I figured it couldn't happen since I wasn't sure whether or not Izmeron (or even Force, really), needed to sleep, but I didn't know that it couldn't happen because they could access their powers while they were awake.
If he zones out, I imagine it's more of a 'not focusing on what's going on around me because I'm trying to pay attention to this vision' kind of zoning out instead of just falling asleep.
