okay so I did a lot of chores, but no tags, I'll count that as a win
$300 to fix my laptop, so gonna look for a new one, but at least they rescued my data
You did good. I wish you luck on the laptop front.
XD i'm so mad at myself because it was one split second mistake and dad helped me get this one so its argh
i think i'll ask for the corpse to keep
What happened to your laptop? D:
I went to plug in my charger and the cord was tangled about a glass of milk and it tipped over onto it
and then I made it worse in panickedly trying to fix it
Aw, fuck. Mistakes like that always leave you kicking yourself for it, it sucks.
after the crash course of my first laptop i'm usually good about leaving drinks a good distance away so you're right, echo, kicking myself
Eh, sounds like it wasn't your fault, you didn't see the glass.
it was juuuust in that blind spot in my left peripheral vision
but yeah, do you guys have recommendations for good, cheap, reliable laptops (pick any two pfft) while you're here? good brands, bad brands?
My ASUS has been good to me for many years!
If I remember correctly, it was about 600 something bucks?
So I wouldn't say it's the cheapest, but it's good for what it does.
It's about 5 years old but it's been good to me.
It's specifically an ASUS Notebook X53E
Buuuut I wouldn't really recommend it because when my mom got it all of its drivers were already out of date |D
But ASUS in general makes good, cheap laptops
oh sweet : D that's good to know
I appreciate it, too. I've been meaning to look around for one for a while now.
Aphrodite here ran Dragon Age: Inquisition for me despite being woefully unprepared for it and she has been good in terms of running my music programs.
But obviously she wasn't made for that really.
I don't game much so I don't need anything too fancy, so that sounds good
and that's his two threads for now, time to make Chara-Frisk's inbox calm down
...or I could watch videos
