I was planning on running for the Academic and Inclusions officer position in biology society, as it would look really good and should be fun, though not involve too much work
But now I've found that there's a new sustainability committee run more by the uni than a society and I really want to run for campaigns officer or something like that
I feel like the sustainability one is more me and what I want to get out of life, but I don't know if I have the confidence to do it (its one of the main roles) and 2-3 hours a week vs the biosoc one which is not as much work
I say you should definitely try running for sustainability, whether it's either you running for that one alone or you running for it if you don't get biosec. You said yourself it's more related to what you want to get out of life and it's more you so I say go for it
aaaand in relation to the being in 3rd year thing, I think that 2-3 hours will be fine. Think about how much revision you do and I know you'll try to argue against me but please remember that I know how much you colourcode your spidergrams sooooo, I think that the 2-3 hours won't be so bad (it could give you a well earned break)
Thank you sorry I was just speaking to my mum about it, and am going to the library now, perhaps at the weekend? xxx I'm gonna make a pros and cons list and pray and a lot of thinking xD
