also I've started compiling a list of things Chilton could see Rincewind do on the hospital cameras:

. nap - in his office, in Chilton's office, in Harley's office, and beneath the stairwell on the second floor (he has a hammock set up under there)
. patch holes in his clothing/add sequins
. take Reggie's pens
. read about what his job is supposed to be

. get in tug-of-war matches with the Luggage, because it often bites the hem of his robe to try and prevent him from leaving his office (since it's not allowed to be with him in the hallways)
. steal food from the vending machines using his power
. care for the plant in his office
. sometimes replace the food in the vending machines, leaving a potato or

apple or something Will packed that he didn't like as trade
. sneak Teddy extra juice during prescription deliveries

. having (often) forgotten his card-key somewhere, lock himself in a room and panic before remembering he has powers
. hide behind various objects whenever he hears Jack coming
. eat lunch with the janitor. They're on good terms, he brought Rincewind homemade muffins once
. decorate and re-decorate his homemade door sign and desk plaque

. unscrew and remove just the inkwells from Reggie's pens
. consider trying some of the medications he's supposed to hand out (he hasn't. yet.)
. sit in Chilton's chair and put his feet on the desk, pretending to be in charge
. leave one of the janitor's muffin's on Chilton's desk for him to try
