Stop it
I'm not watching IT dammit
wow that's a dick move knowing you know clowns
socalramen: He commented with "We all float down here." Aw hell no
Just remember that Idris Elba is Roland Deschain and he'll save you
we all float down here
the only part you need to see is when the kid runs forehead first into a fucking two by four
idk what the point of it is except that i'm going to call it now, the whole film is a jacob's ladder as he dies there in the rain, watching his paper boat float down the sewer drain leaving a pink wake of his own blood
lungful: What time in the trailer does the kid do that? And that would be pretty sketchy if it were a Jacob's Ladder w/clowns. Is it? Man, do I have to force myself to watch the trailer?
it happens very early in, before anything spooky! just when its like "oohh, dreaaaad" and then. the kid wrecks himself the tonal shift is bonkers
then there's another brief shot or 2 before he stares into the storm drain, more dread-building, THEN PW shows up, so you have plenty of time to get the heck outta there
/nod nod/ I didn't wait for your response, I saw it. I saw the whole thing.
It looks terrifying. I got chills, and the music worked me over good. Haha. WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE CLOWNS?
it DID take me a while, i dont blame you! patpat
i'm interested to see mr cellophane's performance considering how iconic tim curry's is but he's so talented so i'm excited. it should make having to watch all the little boys doing things worth it.
i've immunized myself to horror movies but when i was a teenager, killer clowns from outer space messed me up for sooome time.
I haven't seen the original movie, and I know how iconic Curry's Pennywise is, but the new actor is super talented and he'll probably give me nightmares too.
Oh man, killer clowns from outer space screwed me up too. I was a little kid when I saw that one.
i only watched the original movie/series a couple years ago but i loved it. it's very unnerving and i really enjoy it but the ending is my favourite part and it is watchmen levels of crazy. i really don't want them to change it but it looks like the new one might just be the first half of the story (i wouldn't know from source material, i haven't read the
book) where the kids are grown up and return to town and find out more about PW.
the original is like 2 movies. and has baby seth green in the first part!
but yeah it's so effectively unnerving that its resists all desensitization. but then its also super silly at the end, in a great way
you mean the spiiiiidddeeerrs?
