lol my biggest nerd fail is i keep getting into video game fandoms and never actually playing the game
happened with Portal, Prototype, Undertale, and now Hyper Light Drifter.
it's weird bc i'm perfectly fine with watching a three hour long walkthrough but when it comes to playing for that time it's all i don't know i can't read suddenly
this is why the massive collection of undertale meta is a godsend
the closest i've come to actually properly sitting down and gaming, is pokemon, and sunless sea
both games that are very repetitive and allow stops with as much time to plan your next move as you need
which is probs not a coincidence (I don't know if Fallen London counts as a game? It's more an interactive book)
i've made Attempts at HLD and Undertale and it's all fine and daisy until i hit an obstacle and then just. quietly avoid
(fricking Muffet)
as for other things - not really a shipper, not really into cartoons and such as a kid. don't really consider these fails tho
i do wonder what it would have been like if I'd gotten into Warrior Cats, bc I almost did and then swerved away
people are mentioning podcasts and yyyeP
i did crossstitch while listening to TaZ and that worked because it let me focus on something and still listen, but i'm out of crossstitch
and punnike isn't the same
also i'm a massive fan of Exalted and have never played it
it's not just video games apparently
