Well, that's... creepy...
On the bright side, the instructions are in English this time!
And it explains how to apply decals, so that'll let me go back and put together the E-Can later.

She has feet!
And I'm a nitwit and put the legs into the feet upside down. Oops.

That's better.
That does look more correct, yes.

...I am giving a model of a little robot girl panties. Why.
Because some people are awful and her innocence must be protected
Superglue them in place. Maximum protection
Now if only I could get the hip bones attached to the leg bones properly...
It's a ball and socket joint, but the ball doesn't want to go all the way in, so the leg falls off if I nudge it.
Unfortunately, I gotta get to work now. But first, progress so far!

I have made arms!
Hoo boy. More ball and sockets to connect the arms to the shoulders.
Well, one of them went on painlessly enough.
Still no luck with the legs and hips, but at least I'm coming along on the upper body!
...Except I put one of the arms on backwards somehow.
man ball joints can suck so much
some of them I've had to literally press it against the ground in order to pop them in
I may have to do just that, honestly.
Proto didn't give me any trouble like this when I was building him...
Anyway, here's where I left off last night...

Don't worry, dear, we'll get the rest of your body put together soon.
I hope
And bonus moping pupper!
Update: moping pupper is now snoring pupper. Y u so cute
Oh right, Proto didn't give me this kind of trouble because he doesn't have ball joints like that.
She totally imprinted on Mom when she adopted her, so she sulks whenever Mom has to go to work or run errands or whatever.
Anyways, here we go again!
At this point, I've taken apart the hip and am trying to just get the part with the socket to pop in before putting it back together.
Every time I think I've got it though, the darn thing pops out again.
And I'm not sure how far this thing is supposed to go in anyway at this point.
But her shoulders are pretty darn secure, so I feel like I should be aiming for that?
And you're supposed to be able to remobe her arms fairly easily when you're changing her outfit, so I don't see why they shouldn't be easier to remove than the legs...

Yeah, you can see the shoulders are pretty well secured here...

Meanwhile, I'm only able to get the hips in about halfway...
press the part against a hard surface. it should pop in. I do that all the time with my gunpla and it works
Blarg. Pressing against a hard surface hasn't worked, but then again, I'm squishy and weak and lame.
I asked one of my friends who has way more model building experience for help, but even he had trouble.
And he was worried about applying more pressure in case he might end up cracking the plastic or snapping off the ball joint altogether.
He suggested possibly warming up the socket parts or cooling the ball part to expand or shrink them, respectively, but that also risks damaging the plastic.
I would say just make sure it's not too hot
