Based on Ceejay's experience though, you'll need to allow up to a week for Dreamwidth to transfer your journal, once you get in the queue.

That huge exiting crush of journals has gone way down. By the time I got to the last journal (yes I had many) it only took 3 minutes.

LJ got sold to the Russians years ago; it was just never a matter of having to deal with Russian national law personally before.

Gah. I can't delete my account without accepting the new user agreement. And I am very wary of accepting that agreement. (And I don't have the time right not to read it all.)

If you're leaving, it doesn't matter if you accept it.

There is always the risk accepting the UA give them some power - like they can use any info I submitted anyway they want... Including selling it to hackers.
