We'd like to get this game actually started, but we don't know when is a good time to announce that the game will open, and when to start taking apps.

We also really need at least one other mod, primarily to review apps and serve as a second opinion on game matters.

Finally, we really need a good, readable code for the Taken and Player Contact pages. Can't open a game without them!

Thanks for your interest so far in The Unrivaled, and we really hope this can be a good game for people to comfortably play around and have adventures.

hmm I'd say to do advertising and such about a month ahead of it to get people used to the idea

you can drop ads on RP Anons and app this pls or whatever the equivalent is these days

and ofc another test drive wouldn't hurt

I can't really help with coding as such other than it's easier to keep things simple

Oh yeah, the whole thing basically starting by me blabbing about wanting another pirate game like I had on LJ and people I used to play with remembered it and replurked it and other people liked the idea of pirates and started chiming in and SUDDENLY THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE TALKING.

But I also think it helped that I didn't make it a "One Piece" game but was more generic about it. Even though it was basically OP lol. The game on LJ was set in the OP world but I didn't want to scare people off who don't know the series.

i can get links when i get home for handling taken pages, but for my planned ffcc game, i use that cr chart automation method which was going around recently. just have a spreadsheet with the info, and it will generate the fancy-make for you.
