I feel bad for the bunny, but look at the kitty...

he's been sitting there for almost 10 minutes now. I can't believe it

he's definitely a bit bigger than a normal housecat

not big like a mountain lion or anything, but yeahhhh. about as tall as our dog, though a lot less bulky

he's definitely a wild cat of some sort. he was wayyyy too long to be a housecat. and yeah, he got one of the bunnies. unfortunately Bratling saw that, oops. but she seems relatively unscarred

after reading up a bit it is normal for the southern bobcats to look less fuzzy around the cheeks (less like a lynx) and to have lankier builds and longer legs

which has me upset, because the ones they show at the wildlife refuge visitor center don't have this build. they have the typical bobcat look to them

and I'd never gotten more than a glimpse of them, before, as they were running

this is the fourth time I've seen one here near the house, but it's never been for more than seconds, before
