I know this may be a secret >.< But where do you get your textures from? It seems most websites I go to do not allow use in SL :/

most textures i Photograph by myself and make them seamless in ps. pixabay also has some Good textures

PacoPooley Thank you! :-) that reminds me that I have a bunch of texture pictures I should def look through lol. I totally forgot about them >.< I'll also check pixabay's textures too! Persey Thank you! I've never seen these before, these are also perfect for my design projects and junks :-)

I usually bake procedural textures, then if I need to, I use photoshop. Working on learning substance painter too.

I'm still learning about procedural textures... would you use that for something like this: (from floorplan). I love the way they add distressing on their furniture. Haven't figured it all out yet lol I'm just staring lolol Faerycat

I'm not sure if they did that by hand or using something like substance painter. You could something like that -with- substance painter, but it would be part procedural and part model painting - for that matter, you can do that in blender too [I don't know about other 3d programs but its possible they have ways to do it too].

It can also be a mask that mixes two textures. either via a mask made in ps or gimp or via a procedural texture like musgrave or voronoi
