https://i.gyazo.com/d5dcd7cbf0ca5a4e9d2fd6f05c58f12e.png I just can't. I try to get better with texturing, but blegh. Any tips to get this to look less... bland i guess?

it'll look better on the foot, and - there's always beading!

yeah i would say just add some stitching and it'll take it up a notch. It looks good though!!

Thanks so much RoslinPetion, Tanarian, Jujubean! I know I shouldn't compare, but I always look at the extreme realistic detail some shoes out there have. Trying to push myself haha. I do plan on adding stitching, I was trying to remember how Lindsey Warwick did hers on her normal map. But I'm going to have to settle for photoshop lol

Last I saw, she used Quixel to do the normal map for the stitches. I draw mine in PS, then copy them into a new document and use quixel to make the normal map. I agree with everyone else. Stitching and adding a cushioned insole will will add a lot of depth. Cute style!

I think stitching on the sole and around the pink areas would look good. But you did such an awesome job, seriously!
