This morning, my work computer did a massive update that ate an hour.

Then I went out to eat and grab a birthday card for my niece.

Come back, try to log into my remote connection app. It says the computer is not available.

No. I use a VDI.

Isn't it still hooked up to a machine somewhere? I thought they all had a physical location?

My virtual desktop is hooked to a server in the building. If I can't connect, that means a bunch of people using their VDIs can't connect either. But it's not hooked to my desktop.

Huh. I think I'm on a VDI too now. I wonder if mine is wonky.
