[sdcc] I got home late last night. I'm still exhausted. This was not a calm con. I partied more than ever this year and attended more outside events than panels. [more]

I waited five hours in the bloody fucking sun in the shortest line as the last person. I learned not to do any off-sites on Thursday. Thursday is reserved for press.

I finished my Monstress cosplay and went to Marjorie Lou's panel. There was another Maika cosplayer who walked into the room during the panel. They saw her arrive. After the event, I met up with the other girl and we complimented each other. Marjorie passed by us. When she saw me, her eyes widened and she silently screamed "aah."

She wanted to take photos, but had another panel to be at, and invited us both to follow. So we did.

After the second panel, we got to take pics, and Marjorie invited us over to the booth to show Sana our costumes. When I went over and she saw me, she said beautiful costume and shook my hand. I got pics with her.

socalramen graciously got up early for me and waited in the Mr Robot off-site and saved me a spot, so I got to sign up for an Ecorp card and eat at the Red Wheelbarrow. I grabbed some of the tattoos from the place (and a Sentinel Services sticker) but ended up losing those.

On Friday night, a friend and I hung out at a voice actors house until 5am. I was going to cosplay Winter Soldier on Sat, but was too hungover.

This year, I feel the real comic con was the off-sites. I grabbed some pretty sweet exclusives in the dealer's hall, and there were some cool panels, but the events going on outside were awesome. And you didn't even need a badge for those
