haha shit, so it's kinda interesting -

Ashevilles a pretty liberal pocket, so these protests usually blow over quietly

but antifa showed up and there's kind of an interesting conflict brewing between them and the organisers

(who also super disorganized btw)

the atmosphere is strange and tense, the protests kinda getting co-opted, really interesting

everyone else covered "stay safe" so I will say "stay hydrated"

antifa has their shit together in a way the organizers just don't

antifa is starting to March and take the crowd with them (me too lol) and the organizers

are trying to tell people not to follow

whoo ok that was invigorating. back at city center I think the energy's starting to dissipate

spotted riot cops standing by during the march tho, never seen that in AVL before

but they don't seem to have followed now that we're out of the street. there were a couple trucks full of assholes

during the march but for the most part passerbys were supportive or silent
