I don't really know what I'm looking for?
I haven't been in a game since like 2012? Maybe a little after that
four games, three based off of series but not really requiring canon knowledge, and one that's wholesale
The Far Shore (Noragami based), Victory Road (route 29 continuation, the eternal Pokemon game), Recrusion (Persona based), and Lost Carnival (the original)
TFS, VR, and LC are all pretty chill with easy AC, and Recursion is a bit rocky right now while helper mods are looked for and also more plot-based
VR is pretty slice of life, and LC and TFS have elements of it while also using events and some overarching plot
TFS is actually undergoing some rehauling to see what the playerbase wants
I can go into more depth if any of those catch your eye
I've always wanted to play at VR but it always felt intimidating to me so I never really tried
We're a very friendly group! And the new mods who took over are very involved in the game and making sure there's events and such to keep folks busy
(Right now the legendary dogs are having a row and messing with the weather)
Imma look into some of these games tomorrow. I really wanna at least try a new game. I just generally miss rping and having people to talk to about things
I'll try to tell you whatever I can about the ones I'm in, just let me know
I'm also interested in the Persona
Well the
apps just opened! And you can still poke around on the TDM too if you like. It's still a very new game, so we're still setting up plot/setting/mechanic things and finding our legs
New helper mods are going to be added on soon
A new game is always nice cause I can grow with the game rather than trying to squeeze myself in to already established plots and such
tl;dr is that all the characters start out memloss'd and living out an AU life in the idyllic city of Eddan, which is great except for the curfew in place because of a bunch of murders that have been happening. They mostly stay that way for their first month in game, getting snippets of their memories throughout, and then eventually "Awaken"
which lets them go into "Persona" mode basically- cool new outfit, a melee weapon, a ranged weapon, and their demon-based Persona
It takes inspiration from most of the Persona games but also does its own thing with mechanics
I am familiar with persona 3-5 so I'm pretty comfortable with how all that stuff works
Then you'll probably be pretty good on that end!
