At one point we were fighting a bunch of Mordins and I'd gotten outside of the room with a large one just unable to catch me. Mystic said that I should shut the door.

The mordins had an interesting shtik. There were four types. If you killed one of the big ones, one of the smaller became one of the bigger ones. It got promoted.

I noticed this rather quickly and went "Pick off the little ones first!" That way there wouldn't be so many promoting themselves.
