so, you can take the hour six thing, but can't start using it yet.
There will be Wild Magic type storms that happen on clockwork. This will be when new people show up.
The original place to live will be an apartment building that got melded into the mountain wall. Obviously not working completely.
But there will be things left over from the people who used to live there.
Some that will be useful. Some that give world information (what happened). And possibly just... ghosts or skeletons. Like skeletons of a person stuck in a mountain wall.
which can be used to help figure out how to fix the clock.
Wild magic storms would also explain what happens to dropped people.
Need to figure out how/why people are getting brought to the world.
And how to seed information so they know they need to fix the clock.
But sounds neat doesn't always translate well into actual play well.
Working out, working out.
hunting, foraging, fishing?
I'm having trouble with the 'Don't make things too easy for the players because they need to figure out how to survive which is part of the game" thing
ALSO what to do about people's powers!
Take away completely, severe nerf? Definitely going to be nerfing happening.
Because like Magneto having all his powers? Definitely game breaker.
but nerfing i think is better than taking away
taking away you have people who just will shut down for a while and others who will try to get them back first
nerfing they still have them and have to get used to the limits but they can function and most will
also for some people, they need their powers to function. taking those away entirely introduces a handicap that some might not be willing to play
Yeah, the reason I noped out and went on hiatus during the extended no-powers plot the mods threw at us at Med? Because I knew what going that long without his powers would do to Gabriel.
(And if they stuck to the original three months they planned, it would have been an instant drop.)
Yeah Magneto kinda falls apart and then once he picks himself up gets singularly focused on getting them back.
haganenomore: That makes sense. It really is traumatic, like losing a sense as I always put it.
Depending on the powers. Gabriel would have been ... well... completely crippled.
Also, I really hate complete power take aways, so nerfing is good. Serious nerfing, but nerfing.
Yeah. He was able to cope when he got himself depowered within a week, because he knew it was his own damn fault. Time two? Was basically only holding it together because Clary needed him to.
Yeah, people react a lot better to nerfs than 'nope, no powers for you!'. (I mean, come on. Archangel. Of
course he's gonna be nerfed.

)
Exactly. No Poodling people for you!
Or trapping people in TV Land.
Yes. There won't even be tv land! But there may be a broken TV or two.
Eeee I love games with a mystery to unwind. ^__^
Manateehugs: ^_^ That's kinda what I want to happen. And you're on a clock - literally - too.
So, what happens if you fuck up an hour...?
