So this last weekend I learned how to make and edit videos. It allowed me to make the video that I had been wanting to make for those transitioning between qAvimator and Blender, or just learning to use Blender with Avastar. Also helps those who want to know how to use bento bones (hands only in this case). So here's that Blender and Avastar for Posemaking in Second Life

Also, because I just learned how to do this, and it's my first video, please be kind. Would love any feedback you have, though, for future improvements. Yes, I've already been advised to make a snappier opening. Haha.

RoslinPetion: it goes away when I get to actually making the pose. And I cut out a lot of ums. ;-)

aliciachenaux: I'll make a snappier one later. I've got an idea for a video I want to make, but it has a lot of prep to it, so I'm kinda waiting until I finish my Shoetopia project before I tackle it. Baby steps and all that.

RoslinPetion: The first couple sections aren't indicative. I get all focused and clueless later and sound like myself. laughs I'm excited to share it

Love it! I've resorted to making my own poses for my furniture since I hate shopping for the perfect ones. I've been fumbling around... this helps a lot!

HeatherDawn: I've heard of people using static poses on furniture, but can't say I've used them for that. same process, though, just using the timeline to set the bones at each juncture.

Right, I'm doing animations and understand that part. But this video helped with actually moving the bones around easier than I was doing it before.

HeatherDawn: aha! gotcha! I'm so glad it's helpful. let me know if something is unclear or needs expanding upon.
