have you figured out how you're going to split the money and who it's going to?

right now it's likely to go to a local aid charity or red cross. As much as it would be nice to make sure plurkies get it first it would be very difficult to keep that transparent or be sure the person is actually in need.

Getting it into the hands of a charity let's them ensure the right people get help.

of course we do not know if any of our plurkies will be in a dire need once it passes so this can be discussed with the community later.

Local Aid might be best - American Red Cross is under fire for poor management of Harvey donations, and they don't have the best track record.

Please keep away from American Red Cross. Only 8 cents of every dollar donate goes to actual aid; The other 92 cents goes into their own pocket.
