Sister points out how taxis/uber in Manila are so expensive. I say, well... inflation. Tumaas na rin naman sweldo since we left the PH (she left in 2011, I left in 2012). Di naman daw lahat tumaas ang sweldo. Is that true????
I mean -- if it's inflation, I assume everything will go up! It may not be proportional to previous prices but still, impossible na not at all???
So we asked a bunch of our friends (mostly curiosity and we had time on our hands) and most of them still commute. Though they do use uber when they're tired, carrying expensive stuff, etc. But sobrang laki ng agwat between commuting and taxi/uber I'm so surprised!
