I was walking back from class and the sweetest little yorkie puppy was running around the courtyard between the dorm buildings

I obviously stopped to pet her but I couldn't see anyone around who looked like they owned her

She even had a collar on but she didn't have any tags so I'm just Concerned that this poor thing got out of someone's yard or something, but at this point she was kinda done being pet and was "running" (she can't go very fast she was very little) away toward our parking lot

which was A Big Nope so I chased after her and scooped her up. I thought she was running toward some residential houses across from the dorms so I carried her over there and kind of just... shout-asked if anyone had lost a yorkie

I didn't get any responses at first which was A Panic

But then an old man came out and asked some questions about her and he came by the fence and I passed her over to him.

So she found her way home and didn't get run over and didn't get stolen

and that just makes me feel good about myself ;w;

I hope she is, and I hope they found out how she escaped and are fixing that.. ;w;
