CLAUS

1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.
He sleeps... kind of crazy. He and Sienne both do, they wake up in like weird contorted piles. Unless he's sleeping on the ground, then he's very still and sleeps flat on his back.

Once you get him in a comfy space he just... kinda ends up rolling around and getting into weird positions

3. Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like?
Is "white dad" an accent? Because that's what it is. Not just because he's white and Dad, but just because... that's the way he talks. If anything he's almost a little midwestern. Not quite fargo level, but a little bit of a "sohrry" if you catch my drift

4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?
Dude Claus can't pronounce shit.

He's well articulated, he can get his thoughts across pretty easily and succinctly. But he pronounces everything wrong

He calls Meryem "Marian" when he's trying to use her full name

He used to call (and sometimes still does) Sienne "Sienna"

Which is close, but not... not the way he says it

As far as verbal tics go, he's prone to nervous and awkward laughter/chuckling

7. How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral?
This changes so frequently it's hard to keep track, but as far as the Claus I PLAY goes, he's... he doesn't actively think negatively about himself, but he's very consciously aware that he's incredibly average as a person and only really stands out for having traveled so much

9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.
He does dream, but he often forgets everything the moment he wakes up and only remembers vague emotions from those dreams

Unless of course he has a nightmare. Then they're vivid and burned into his memory and he spends the day contemplating and fretting about it. One particular nightmare he remembers was reliving the harpy crushing his collar bone but at the end instead of landing just fine next to Claus, Sienne ended up ripped open at the rib cage.

That kinda fucked with his memory and it took him until he saw her that day to remember what really happened and to stop... Er... I'll call it "fretting"

As far as not sleeping, when he can't sleep he just... sits there and tries to count as high as he can

11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?
He ascribes to the religion that Anaise's people do, basically that the world was created by the eight nymphs and that at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you do as long as you respect the physical earth

because that's where you're going when you die.

Your soul just sort of enters a collective conscious/energy that becomes "mana" and your body just kinda rots into it

He doesn't believe in "god" per se, but the nymphs are close enough tbh. As far as creation... well, the earth more created the nymphs than the other way around, and after that the nymphs only had their hands directly in the creation of two or three races at best, every other plant and animal is the result of basic evolution

Okay, I contradicted myself. The nymph's didn't really create everything

14. Are they a team player or do they prefer to be solo?
He likes being a team player! Collaboration is the best way to create real breakthroughs and further intellectual discussion

15. Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time?
He... CAN multi-task in the sense that he can take in information and actively take notes, either by listening or reading. Once you get past that, he has to focus on one thing at a time. And he can't take in information, write notes AND be aware of his surroundings

which is why he gets hurt

20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?
WH-- NO???? He's only ever killed one thing and it was out of self defense and he's still kinda fucked up over it. So... no one. pls no kill

Claus is a simple man who recognizes the beauty in the world despite it's many many many flaws, so probably nothing too... "world peace"-y y'feel? He'd probably wish for the guarantee of a good life for Meryem, and then give the other two to Sienne lmao

If he HAD to use all three, the other two would be used on.. probably material things. Like... a stable of horses or a high powered telescope to watch the stars and planets even as he ages

24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?
Oh heavens no. Even if other people perceive them as enemies, Claus would probably just shrug and say that they just are on a different plane of reference and won't be able to work together.

He wouldn't call anyone an "enemy" for sure

25. Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?
hmmmmmmmmmm nothing too weird tbh. He's dommy as hell though, not necessarily in a bdsm sense just in general he's... more of an instigator

26. How does your character prepare for bed? Do they sleep at all or can they stay awake for days on end without trouble?

He prepares by taking off his pants (usually he'll replace them with pajama pants. Not always, if he can avoid it) and having a cup of nighttime tea and that's literally it. Then he takes off his day shirt and go to bed and he goes RIGHT to bed. He can not stay up for more than 16 hours at a time tbh

30. Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?
aw hell man, Claus is gonna eat chocolate for every meal until it kills him. He might do that without the "forced to eat one thing" tbh.

He just... He just loves that shit. He loved it as a kid, didn't eat it for YEARS and then he had some after he got back home and remembered "HOLY SHIT..... THIS IS DELICIOUS??????" so
