the letter C for instance. IT'S REDUNDANT! we don't need letter redudany. We can use S or K in it's place. The C doesn't deserve 3rd place.

C has it's uses in other languages. It's just because English uses Latin characters, and therefore has to double up on some sounds. e.g., C.
