LiliB: Yes. and lots and lots of curves. I found out a great way to do fringe by making live mesh and it helped immensely
I also flip back and forth with zbrush
do you sculpt folds and creases in Zbrush ?
sometimes I will do an initial crease and drop, take it back and drop again
I do multiple drops, not just one
if the blanket is folded I fold it in maya, add definition in zbrush, and then drop in maya
rinse repeat
a lot of people say marvellous designer is good for cloth too but I haven't tried it yet. I plan to
it's kind of a pain in the ass to wrestle with cloth in MD
looks like you can manage the same thing in Maya already!
