I’m not going to lie, it’s been years, maybe almost a decade since I’ve seen ice on my windshield
well I’ve been in my car for 40 minutes and it’s almost done defrosting
... At this point, I think you can call your boss and say "Yeah, my shit's fucked. I MIGHT be able to make it in another hour, if you want me driving in this."
I mean
I made it in 45 minutes late BUT she was okay with it so.....
i finally caved yesterday and bought a good set of thermals. i kept avoiding it bc it always feels like i'll buy them for one day and then never wear them again, but these cold snaps are getting ridiculous.
we've never actually had to use our bad weather make up days for ice and snow before, yet here we are. canceled days and delayed starts for ice and snow in south texas. the weather is out of control.
