jay considers dirk a friend and kind of considered mikleo one (that was complicated because mikleo didn't know the Real Truth about him) and at this point i think he would also admit to himself that senel and the others were his friends, or at least that he wanted them to be.

i also think jay is friends with haru and jude. maybe madoka, although that's a little weird as he doesn't precisely consider her a peer.
