timeline: i placed this order around 8:50 my time

via doordash

around 9:30 i get a text from the dasher saying it's been half an hour and no one has checked on the order, can i cancel

which, i can't, it won't let me

so he tells me to call doordash, WHICH, buddy if i wanted to make phone calls i wouldn't be using doordash in the first place, but i send them a little feedback thing since i can't find a number

then i ask him, you know, has he tried going to find someone or calling the restaurant, and when i don't get a reply, finally just called the restaurant myself and . . . apparently he left???

so now doordash is getting someone else, supposedly

i try not to be down on dashers since i'm pretty sure they're horrendously underpaid, but, gestures,

right, like, you order food because you don't want to think about anything

sigh, the restaurant helped me cancel the order but it was too late to order new takoyaki

this is the saddest end

are there other delicious things still open

i did order chili fries.
