The rain is coming do-o-own (hooray!), and Mr Maxface is being INTENSELY snuggly. After the last few days, I'm giving myself permission to take advantage of this & chill for a while. I'm setting an alarm so if I doze off, I won't lose the WHOLE day, but I'm definitely letting myself get a late start. 😊

The rain is putting a mild crimp in my plans, if it doesn't taper off, but it's nice to have. Made it to physio ok though.

The rain put paid to my plans, so I did virtual gardening instead.

It's still raining here, so I pretty much stuck to working inside. It's still at the "looks like I haven't done much of anything" stage, but I think slow but steady is definitely the way I'm going to actually get through it.

I have accumulated a small stack of boxes of my own, and a couple bags of trash. I managed to lose my phone for a few hours, but found it again. XD

I also found an unexpected candle that smells REALLY good, and have collected all the tiny pots into a tin, and have some stuff lined up for sorting & consolidating.

I am remembering that one of my original problems in here was a lot of floor space, but not enough places to put things so I can keep them stored/organized, but still easily accessible when I want to use something.

Which isn't something I need to focus on YET, but I'm keeping in mind. I'm going to raid the box pile in my mom's office (all smaller than the garage ones, but bigger than anything I'd want to keep for mailing out my little creations), and sort into them FOR NOW. But with an eye on keeping stuff functionally organized instead of just out of the way.

For temporary storage when broke, sturdy boxes turned on their side and stacked can make very cheap shelves.

9 year old Wyn discovered this after one move when her books got to make the trip, but shelves weren't in the family budget.

Ooh. I'm definitely eying the accumulated boxes a little bit differently, now. Thank you, tiny Wyn's ingenuity.

You can cut the flaps off and use them as central supports, since they are by definition the same dimensions as the box.
