There's a (rather bad) story from somewhen in the '70s where Kara goes to become an adopted Amazon; and interestingly enough, one of the animated movies of more recent vintage has her training there because Kal Could Not Manage.

[ponders] They managed to pry permission to use Superman from Warner/DC... there's no reason after they finish up with the LSH storyline for now that they couldn't have a different Amazon visiting Patriarchs' World... especially since the idiot suits cancelled the Amazon TV series.

Now if only they would cancel that dismal "Krypton" series on syfy.
