Let's try this again. I wanted to make a list without legendary pokemon.

Again, some of these can be swapped around, because it's hard to pick at times.

Decidueye could also have been Pancham, and in Dark would've been Houndoom or Incineroar.

Fighting could have easily been Blaziken or Infernape.

I'm already changing my mind about Croagunk; because I forgot Roserade.

Let's run through the current list and explain why they're on here.

Decidueye: Chose as starter in Ultrasalt. It survived so many hits it should not have. It goes from looking super cute to super sleek.

Ninetails: Always loved Vulpix line, when I played Fire Red or Leaf Green, even if I chose Charmander, I always had to go for Vulpix.

Lapras: Just so many memories of Pokemon: Adventures in the Orange Islands. I cried more as a kid when Ash let Lapras go than even Bye Bye Butterfree.

Bibarel: Diamond, Pearl, Platinum. It's a beaver. I'm Canadian. I'm tickled pink.

Luxray: My dark horse. I always loved how it looked, and my Sparkleon will always have a place in my heart for being one of my first pokemon (I started the series in Diamond)

Delphox: My favorite Gen VI starter. I loved the Fire/Psychic typing and thought it just looked so cool.

Hawlucha: IT'S A LUCHA LIBRE POKEMON. HOW COULD I NOT LOVE IT?

Aurorus: Would be my favorite Ice Pokemon, if Alolan Vulpix/Ninetails never came. It's elegant, it packs a punch, and is super cute.

Garchomp: The TRUE Challenger. I honestly feel that no other Champion was as well rounded (pre gen VII) as Cynthia is, and her Garchomp was top tier, even more than her Spiritomb. Besides, it's a shark pokemon. It looks so awesome.

Togekiss: I've always loved Togepi, and seeing its evolutions was great. Togekiss is cute and if I can get one, I like using it.

Galvantula: It's an electric spider. It's cute as hell!

Croagunk: I just think the concept of a Poison/Fighting pokemon awesome.

Roserade(alt): Because it's a fancy power ranger rose pokemon.

Pangoro: I love how Pancham goes from a cute thing to SUPER STRONK. It's also a Panda.

*Oh for Croagunk: It's also a frog. I like frogs >_>

Froslass: I love the lore behind Froslass. It's a horror story!

Ice: Alolan Ninetails: IT'S NINETAILS BUT ICE.

Steel: Mawile: I just have always liked how Mawile looked.

Haxorus: Because I decided Non-Legendary: it's a gold dragon with axes on its face.

(Latias and Latios, and Dialga are too hard to pick between for Legendary)

Clefable: Always thought it was cute, but until my Bootleg Green run, I never knew how versatile it is too. Moonbeams is my MVP for Bootleg Green.
