hey book friends! join us for a chat about March, written by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and illustrated by Nate Powell... it's a good, interesting, quick read. we're at least talking about Book 1, but keep reading if you are enjoying it! and come chat!
AlannaRobbiani: hmm strange, I just searched for March and saw the first one... I wonder if different libraries are paying for different amounts of hoopla!
My library system shows all three volumes in Hoopla (I'm d/l'ing #1 as we plurk, tx Sam!) Maybe all the licenses for #1 are in use for your system, Alanna?
CoyotePace That could be, but then it really ought to indicate that. When I spoke to step about getting Hoopla at the library I work in, he said that should never happen. But, it does depend on the licensing agreement for each library. Venders rarely give the same offer to every library.
I'm just terrible with print books. I do much better when it's audio, which obviously would not work well for this. At least it's graphic, so not many words, lol
I do know a bit about the civil rights movement. I've also attended a talk with Congressman Lewis and the co-author of these books when Book 3 came out. It was amazing to hear him talk about his experiences in person!
