My motivation has been so awful lately.

Kamui may act like he's annoyed and hate the guy, but if Yumoto is persevering and doesnt mind Kamui as he is, Kamui might actually respect that

I don't know the character, but it's honestly hard to be someone Yumoto doesn't like. You pretty much need to be punching kittens or something.

Kamui is one of the villains in Gintama. Although he does sorta..I mean he stops trying to kill his sister and her friends way later in the manga at least. He's rude, sadistic, did I mention rude

This sounds like it's going to be delightful. Yumoto is likely to be oblivious to the rudeness unless it's really mean spirited. Alien space pirate is cool though.
